Senior Software Engineer 📍 Location: Cubao, Quezon City (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite) 🕒 Schedule: Dayshift About the Role We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong back-end foundation and solid front-end development experience to join our growing engineering team. In today's AI-driven software landscape, we believe great engineers are not limited by a single tech stack. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work across back-end, front-end, and data engineering initiatives while leveraging modern AI development tools to build scalable, high-quality solutions. What You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable back-end services and microservices. Build and enhance front-end applications using modern frameworks to deliver seamless user experiences. Optimize system performance, scalability, and security across the application stack. Contribute to data engineering initiatives, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data modeling. Prototype and evaluate emerging technologies and AI-assisted development tools. Participate in architecture discussions and help drive technical decisions. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance. Champion engineering best practices, including clean code, automated testing, and CI/CD. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Data Engineers, and global stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies as business needs evolve. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications At least 5 years of software engineering experience. Strong back-end development experience using Python (preferred), Java, C#, or Node.js. Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices. Strong knowledge of system design, software architecture, and database management. Experience working with column-oriented databases, such as HBase or ClickHouse. Hands-on experience with containerized architectures, particularly Kubernetes. (Docker experience alone is not sufficient.) Solid experience with at least one modern front-end framework such as: React Vue.js Next.js Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Understanding of CI/CD practices and modern software development workflows. Experience working in Agile development environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. Nice to Have Experience with: ETL processes Data pipelines Data modeling Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as: GitHub Copilot ChatGPT Cursor Claude Exposure to DevOps and infrastructure automation.
