Come be a part of our journey! Note: This role is not office-based, but the final candidate needs to be located in Beijing or Shanghai with regular regional travel expected. ClickHouse is hiring a Field Marketing Manager to play a foundational role in building awareness, adoption, and consideration of our product in China. This role will drive engagement with our growing local user community through meetups, while also supporting enterprise growth through virtual and in-person events and regional field programs, with a strong focus on the Chinese market. This role will partner closely with Sales to accelerate pipeline and revenue through effective field marketing strategies. Day to day, you’ll own the end-to-end execution of high-impact events and campaigns, identify trends and opportunities within ClickHouse’s enterprise audience, and analyze campaign performance to continuously refine and optimize our field marketing approach. Responsibilities Travel required >40% of the time. Collaborate closely with sales, demand generation, product marketing, and developer advocacy teams to design and execute integrated field events that support both immediate and long-term business objectives for ClickHouse. Translate demand generation strategies into impactful events and experiences by working with cross-functional teams to develop content and promotional strategies that drive high attendance and engagement. Work with external partners and third-party organisations to co-host events, webinars, and joint marketing initiatives, helping to expand ClickHouse's reach and strengthen its market presence. Manage the entire event lifecycle, including contracts, planning, logistics, and on-the-ground execution, for various events, such as trade shows, conferences, hosted events, and webinars. Develop and implement comprehensive event campaigns, covering audience segmentation, promotional tactics, and follow-up strategies to ensure consistent lead generation and audience engagement. Track and analyse the performance of field marketing campaigns and events, using data insights to refine strategies and deliver measurable results. Maintain a detailed event calendar and identify new opportunities that align with ClickHouse’s marketing goals and priorities. Coordinate all event logistics, ensuring the smooth delivery of materials, booth properties, graphics, promotional items, and equipment throughout transportation and setup. Provide internal teams with clear guidance on event responsibilities and task assignments, ensuring alignment with company goals and effective collaboration across departments. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in field, event, or regional marketing within the B2B SaaS space, with a strong focus on the Chinese market. Experience in the database or data analytics industries is highly desirable. Demonstrated success in driving pipeline generation and increasing brand awareness through field marketing efforts. Excellent project management skills, with experience in organising and executing events at both small and large scales. Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs. Experience working closely with sales teams to ensure alignment on objectives, messaging, and campaign execution. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to evolving business needs. Experience with collaborating with global marketing teams, and has interests in building and improving on new and existing programs. Experience with strategy-building with partners like Alibaba and AWS is a plus. #LI-remote Compensation For roles based in the United States , t he typical starting salary range for this position is listed above. In certain locations, such as the San Francisco Bay Area and the New York City Metro Area, a premium market range may apply, as listed.
