Responsibilities Maintain and enhance a live, feature-complete production platform. Build new features across the backend and frontend. Deliver incremental backend API improvements. Support the Studio product in production. Work primarily on backend development, with some frontend contribution. Independently design and document APIs. Follow existing codebase patterns and deployment pipelines. Collaborate within an existing engineering team while self-managing day to day. Support containerised services deployed through the existing cloud deployment setup. Use AI-assisted development tools comfortably as part of the engineering workflow. Requirements 4+ years of experience with Node.js and/or NestJS. 3+ years of experience with Angular.& 1.5 years with React 3+ years of experience with Docker and/or Docker Compose. 4+ years of experience with REST API design. 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. 2+ years of experience with Swagger and/or API documentation, or strong API discipline. 1+ year of working experience with AI tools such as Claude, MCP, LLM APIs, or similar. Mid to Senior level engineering experience. 4–6 years minimum professional experience, with 8+ years ideal. Ability to independently design and document APIs. Ability to work in a mostly independent way while collaborating with an existing team. Ability to follow established patterns in an existing codebase and deployment pipeline. Nice to Have 1+ year of experience with microservices architecture.
