<h5><strong>Job summary:</strong></h5><p>We are looking for a <strong>Backend Software Engineer</strong> to join our growing international team and contribute to building scalable, high-quality applications that power our compliance and digital solutions.</p><p>The role requires working in <strong>US shift (3 PM – 12 AM IST)</strong> and focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems while supporting a collaborative, engineering-driven culture. The selected candidate will play a key role in improving application performance, ensuring system reliability, and contributing to the overall success of our global products.</p><h5>Key Responsibilities:</h5><h6><strong>Backend Development & Engineering</strong></h6><ul><li><p>Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications</p></li><li><p>Implement technical product requirements and enhance existing systems</p></li><li><p>Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of applications</p></li><li><p>Contribute throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)</p></li></ul><h6><strong>Problem Solving & System Optimization</strong></h6><ul><li><p>Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues</p></li><li><p>Monitor system performance and implement improvements</p></li><li><p>Ensure timely tracking and resolution of development challenges</p></li></ul><h6><strong>Collaboration & Team Contribution</strong></h6><ul><li><p>Work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and operations</p></li><li><p>Support team members and collaborate to deliver high-quality products</p></li><li><p>Participate in code reviews and technical discussions</p></li></ul><h6><strong>Technology & Infrastructure</strong></h6><ul><li><p>Build and manage services using client-server architectures</p></li><li><p>Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure</p></li><li><p>Ensure seamless integration with databases and APIs</p></li></ul><h5><span><strong>Skills & Qualifications:</strong></span></h5><h6><span><strong>Skills:</strong></span></h6><ul><li><p>Experience working with one or more backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Go, PHP, or Node.js</p></li><li><p>Experience with RESTful APIs and distributed systems</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS)</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)</p></li><li><p>Exposure to AI/LLM tools across SDLC is a plus</p></li></ul><h6><span><strong>Qualification:</strong></span></h6><ul><li><p><span>Engineering degree in Information technology, Computer Science or equivalent.</span></p></li><li><p><span>5 – 10 years of relevant experience as a backend developer.</span></p></li></ul><h5>About us:</h5><p>group.one is a leading European provider of online presence, cloud hosting, and digital marketing services.
