UX/UI Designer (Figma, Product Design, User Research & Prototyping) – Remote | U.S. Hours Position Type: Full-Time, Remote Working Hours: U.S. Client Business Hours (flexibility required for sprint reviews, launches, and developer handoffs) About the Role At Pavago , one of our clients is hiring a UX/UI Designer to own the full product design lifecycle — from user research and wireframes to polished interfaces and developer-ready handoffs. This is not just a visual design role. You will be responsible for: Understanding user behavior Solving real product problems Designing intuitive user experiences Improving usability, engagement, and conversion You’ll work closely with: Product Managers Engineers Stakeholders To create clean, scalable, and user-friendly digital experiences across web and mobile products. What You’ll Own User Research & Product Thinking (Core Focus) Conduct: User interviews Surveys Usability testing Translate findings into: Personas User journeys User flows Product requirements Analyze user behavior using: Hotjar FullStory Google Analytics Wireframing & Prototyping Create: Low-fidelity wireframes High-fidelity prototypes Interactive product flows Use tools like: Figma Adobe XD Sketch Iterate designs quickly based on: User feedback QA findings Stakeholder input UI Design & Design Systems Design modern, responsive interfaces with strong: Typography Layout hierarchy Color systems Interaction consistency Build and maintain: Design systems Component libraries Style guides Ensure consistency across: Web applications Mobile interfaces Product experiences Accessibility & UX Standards Design with: WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards Ensure: Strong usability Clear navigation Mobile responsiveness Inclusive experiences Consider localization and global user accessibility Collaboration & Developer Handoff Work closely with: Product Managers Engineers QA teams Deliver: Design specifications Assets Interaction documentation Support developer handoff using: Figma Dev Mode Zeplin InVision Optimization & Continuous Improvement Participate in: Design reviews Product feedback cycles A/B testing initiatives Improve: User flows Onboarding experiences Feature usability Product conversion performance What Success Looks Like Users can navigate products intuitively Designs are clean, scalable, and developer-friendly Product experiences reduce friction and improve engagement Design systems stay consistent across products Features are delivered on time and aligned with product goals What Makes You a Strong Fit You think like a product designer, not just a visual designer You balance: User needs Business goals Product constraints You can explain: Why a design works Not just how it looks You are highly collaborative and comfortable in Agile environments You care deeply about usability, clarity, and product impact Requirements (Must-Have) Experience 2+ years of UX/UI or Product Design experience Strong portfolio demonstrating: UX thinking Product problem-solving High-quality UI execution Core Skills Proficiency in: Figma Adobe XD Sketch Experience with: Wireframing Prototyping Responsive design Design systems Strong understanding of: User-centered design Accessibility standards Product usability principles Nice to Have Experience designing: SaaS platforms Mobile applications E-commerce products Basic front-end understanding: HTML/CSS Experience with: Analytics tools User testing platforms Large-scale design systems What a Typical Day Looks Like Review user feedback and product priorities Design wireframes and product flows Create UI screens and prototypes in Figma Collaborate with engineering and product teams Refine design systems and reusable components Participate in sprint reviews and feedback sessions Iterate designs based on testing and stakeholder input In short: You design intuitive, scalable, and user-friendly product experiences that improve usability, engagement, and product adoption.
