About this role
HyperHug is an international game development studio specializing in the shooter genre. Our main office is based in Cyprus, but our talented team works remotely from around the world. We’re developing Oxide: Survival Island, an immersive multiplayer survival shooter for mobile platforms, and we’re always looking for motivated individuals who want to grow with us, contribute their creativity, and help shape the future of our games.
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to take ownership of a reliable, secure, and well-managed IT infrastructure across our multi-domain gaming group.
The main goal of this role is to make our IT environment predictable and efficient: employees get the right access and equipment on time, critical services remain stable, infrastructure is documented and automated, and the company maintains control over accounts, licenses, devices, and IT costs.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Ensure the stability and reliability of IT infrastructure, including monitoring and incident response.
- Automate routine operations and develop Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Manage user accounts, access, roles, and permissions.
- Provide technical support to employees and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
- Manage IT security and corporate devices.
- Maintain hardware inventory and manage equipment procurement, setup, and deployment.
- Administer SaaS services, licenses, subscriptions, and IT-related expenses.
- Document infrastructure and processes, reducing bus factor and dependency on individual team members.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure administration or a similar role, with the ability to independently own an infrastructure area end-to-end.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, with solid knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, and firewalls.
- Experience with mobile device management, infrastructure automation, virtualization, and containers (Ansible, Proxmox, LXD, or similar).
- Good understanding of IAM and infrastructure security, including MFA, RBAC, access lifecycle management, secrets management, PKI, certificates, and least privilege.
- Experience administering SaaS platforms, licenses, and corporate devices, with strong documentation and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Relocation support to Cyprus (Limassol), including visa and housing assistance (this is an on-site position).
- Competitive salary.
- Monthly lunch allowances via Wolt.
- School fee contribution for children.
- Health benefits - comprehensive medical insurance and SportBenefit membership.
- Car rental.
- Greek lessons.
- A passionate and supportive team that values creativity and ownership.
- Opportunities for professional growth.
- A culture built on initiative, transparency, and collaboration.
