About the Role Kaseya's SaaS Backup products protect M365, Google Workspace, and Salesforce data for hundreds of thousands of businesses globally. We are building the next generation of our backup storage platform — a unified, cloud-agnostic system designed for massive scale. As a Senior Engineer, you will build and ship features across the platform, work closely with staff and principal engineers on design, and take ownership of well-defined components with increasing autonomy over time. What You Will Do - Build reliable backend services in Go across the backup and restore pipeline - Implement SaaS connectors that integrate with M365, Google Workspace, and Salesforce APIs — handling authentication, pagination, delta sync, and error recovery - Write thorough unit and integration tests; treat correctness as a first-class requirement - Participate in code reviews and design discussions - Debug and resolve production issues within your area of ownership - Collaborate with DevOps on deployment, monitoring, and on-call support What We Are Looking For **Required** - 5–8 years of software engineering experience - Proficiency in Go or strong willingness to work in Go as the primary language - Experience building and operating backend services on cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) - Familiarity with Kubernetes for service deployment - Working knowledge of SQL databases and REST or gRPC APIs - Good testing practices — you write tests alongside code, not after **Nice to Have** - Experience integrating with SaaS APIs (Microsoft Graph, Google Workspace APIs, or Salesforce Bulk API) - Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, SQS, or similar) - Exposure to cloud object storage (S3, GCS, or Azure Blob) - Background in data-intensive or infrastructure-adjacent backend systems Why Join - Work on a greenfield platform at real scale, not a legacy maintenance project - Learn from strong principal and staff engineers in a collaborative environment - Clear growth path toward Staff Engineer for the right candidate - Competitive salary and benefits Additional information Kaseya provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants without regard to race, religion, age, ancestry, gender, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
