Curious and innovative problem solvers looking for the chance to meaningfully shape the future of cardiac health, our company, and your career About This Role: At iRhythm Technologies, we seek a skilled Integration Engineer with strong programming and platform expertise to join our dynamic team. This role combines infrastructure management, system administration, and integration platform operations to ensure the reliability and scalability of our healthcare integration systems. What You Will Be Doing Infrastructure & Platform Management: Administer and maintain IRIS for Health integration platform environments across AWS EC2 instances, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability System Administration: Manage Linux-based servers, configure network security including PaloAlto VPN tunnels, perform system maintenance, implement security patches, and optimize system performance across development, staging, and production environments CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CodeFresh/GitLab to automate deployment processes and ensure consistent, reliable releases Integration Platform Operations: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot IRIS for Health integrations with customer EHRs (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts), ensuring optimal performance and reliability Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline environment provisioning, deployment processes, and routine maintenance tasks Infrastructure as Code: Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using modern DevOps practices and tools Monitoring & Incident Response: Set up comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems; participate in rotating on-call schedule for critical production support Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve platform reliability and efficiency What We Need to See Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or 10 years of equivalent experience At least 5 years of experience in system administration, DevOps, or SRE roles Strong Linux/Unix administration skills with proficiency in command-line operations and shell scripting Experience with InterSystems Cache' and IRIS for Health platform administration Hands-on experience with AWS services with ability to manage cloud infrastructure Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Cache ObjectScript, Bash, JavaScript) for automation and tooling CI/CD pipeline experience with CodeFresh, GitLab, or similar platforms Understanding of healthcare integration standards (HL7, FHIR) and interface engines Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in distributed systems Ways To Stand Out IRIS for Health certifications or expertise in the integration engine system administration AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer) Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform) Container orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes) Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) Previous healthcare IT or medical device industry experience Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning Location: Remote - US Actual compensation may vary depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
