We’re looking for a commercially driven Solutions Specialist with strong B2B/SaaS sales experience to support our account management teams and drive revenue across our existing customer base. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of sales strategy and technical enablement, spending the majority of their time closing deals while leveraging technical knowledge to support consultative conversations.
This is a 70% sales-focused role with a 30% technical componen t, supporting solution positioning, demos, and customer engagement across a broad portfolio of IT solutions.
The Role:
As a Solutions Specialist, you’ll partner closely with Account Managers to identify opportunities, influence deal strategy, and close both transactional and high-value sales. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to customers, translating technical concepts into clear business outcomes and value-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive new revenue through upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
Partner with Account Managers to develop account strategies and close deals
Own and manage opportunities across the full sales cycle, from qualification to close
Deliver solution overviews, presentations, and demonstrations to customers and internal stakeholders
Apply a consultative sales approach to understand customer business and technical needs
Articulate the value and commercial impact of solutions rather than just features
Maintain an accurate and active sales pipeline across multiple accounts
Provide regular forecasting and pipeline updates to management
Coordinate internal technical and sales resources to support deal execution
Share customer insights and competitive intelligence to support continuous improvement
Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
About you:
2+ years of successful experience in B2B or SaaS inside sales
Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of closing deals
Technical understanding of IT solutions, infrastructure, or software platforms
Comfortable discussing topics such as applications, operating systems, and virtualised environments
Confident communicator with strong phone and stakeholder engagement skills
Able to build relationships across technical and non-technical audiences
Highly organised with experience managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
Experience selling into MSPs or mid-sized IT organisations is advantageous
