In this role, you will own the data infrastructure and measurement intelligence that drives our monetization decisions. As the single point of contact between Data and Monetization, you will partner directly with our Head of Sales and our Game Balancing team to turn raw player and revenue signals into pricing strategies, offer design, and live ops decisions across our full portfolio of social games. Tasks Own and operate our monetization measurement stack, ensuring data quality, model integrity, and actionable outputs across IAP, offers, and the in-game economy Build and maintain scalable dbt data models and Tableau dashboards that enable self-service reporting on monetization health metrics (ARPDAU, ARPPU, conversion rates, payer cohorts, offer performance, retention-to-revenue curves) Develop predictive models for player LTV, payer conversion, and churn risk, and translate them into concrete recommendations for pricing, segmentation, and personalized offers Partner with Game Balancing to analyze the in-game economy: sink/source health, currency inflation, progression pacing, and the impact of balancing changes on long-term revenue Translate measurement outputs into concrete recommendations for senior stakeholders. You're the person who explains why an offer, price point, or economy lever is over- or underperforming and what to do about it Own the full monetization data collection layer, from event tracking specs to first-party event design and data contracts with Product and Engineering, ensuring every relevant purchase, offer interaction, and economy event is captured correctly and flows reliably into the measurement stack Design and oversee A/B tests for pricing, offer mechanics, store layouts, paywalls, and live ops events to optimize the full monetization funnel Conduct payer segmentation and player journey analysis to uncover conversion, retention, and reactivation opportunities across whales, mid-spenders, and minnows Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure reliable data pipelines between game backends, payment providers, and our BI stack Requirements Required: 4+ years in Monetization Analytics, Analytics Engineering, Game Analytics, or a closely related role in B2C, gaming, or mobile Strong SQL and Python for data modeling, analysis, and predictive modeling (e.g., D180 LTV forecasting, payer conversion models) Hands-on experience with dbt and Tableau (or comparable BI tools) Deep understanding of monetization mechanics in free-to-play or social games: IAP funnels, offer design, pricing, in-game economies, and live ops measurement Solid grasp of experimentation: A/B test design, sample sizing, and the ability to critically evaluate model and test outputs, not just run them Proven ability to communicate complex data clearly to senior non-technical stakeholders (Sales, Game Design, Leadership) Proactive and ownership-driven: You close the loop from pipeline to business impact Fluent English Preferred: Experience with game economy modeling, sink/source analysis, or balancing simulations Gaming or high-growth product company background, ideally social casino or casual/mid-core F2P Familiarity with payment providers (e.g., Xsolla, Stripe, app store IAP) and revenue reconciliation Experience with hybrid monetization (IAP + Ad Revenue) and ad mediation platforms (Max, LevelPlay) Practical experience with AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, LangChain, n8n) Fluent German Benefits You benefit from a professional team with many years of experience in the industry A dynamic environment with flat hierarchies, fast decision-making, and plenty of room for your own ideas Flexible working hours and the option to work remotely (with an expectation of being in the office two days per week) Regular company events Fruit, drinks, and meal allowances Subsidy for the Germany Ticket Option for a Wellpass membership Would you like to join us on the Whow journey?
