SAP BW/4HANA Consultant

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP BW/4HANA Consultant with strong expertise in SAP HANA Modeling, SAP BW/4HANA, data integration, ABAP, SQL, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). The consultant will design, develop, and implement scalable data warehousing and reporting solutions while integrating data from SAP and non-SAP source systems. Location: Chicago, IL — Day 1 Onsite Contract: 12+ Months Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze reporting, analytics, and data integration requirements from business stakeholders. Design end-to-end SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA solutions aligned with business and technical requirements. Develop and optimize SAP HANA Calculation Views, CDS Views, and SAP BW/4HANA data models, including ADSOs, Composite Providers, and Open ODS Views. Design and implement SAP Smart Data Integration (SDI) and ETL processes for SAP and non-SAP systems. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, procedures, and scripts. Perform performance tuning for queries, data loads, and overall system scalability. Support reporting tools and dashboards by developing clean, reliable, and optimized data models. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and data validation. Troubleshoot data integration and performance-related issues. Create technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and support documentation. Support BW 7.5 on HANA to BW/4HANA migration activities. Collaborate effectively with technical teams, business users, and other stakeholders. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA Modeling Expertise in SAP BW/4HANA Modeling Hands-on experience with SAP Smart Data Integration (SDI) and ETL processes Strong experience with ABAP Advanced SQL skills Experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and architectures Experience with performance tuning and optimization Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Experience with BW 7.5 on HANA to BW/4HANA migration Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Qualifications 10–12+ years of experience with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAC Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise data warehousing solutions Ability to communicate effectively across different levels of an organization Pharma or Manufacturing industry experience is highly desired Ability to work onsite in Chicago, IL from Day 1
