PLC / Controls Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Controls/PLC Engineer with strong experience programming, configuring, commissioning, troubleshooting, and supporting PLC systems. PLC experience is the primary requirement for this position. SCADA experience is helpful but not required and can be learned on the job. Location: Naperville or Glen Ellyn, IL Type: Full-time Permanent Travel: Approximately 20% to field locations Preferred PLC Platforms Emerson Rockwell / Allen-Bradley Siemens Omron Comparable industrial PLC platforms Nice-to-Have Skills SCADA Wonderware / AVEVA HMI programming RTUs Industrial communications and networking Gas, energy, or utilities experience Preferred Backgrounds Candidates with experience in the following environments are preferred: Industrial automation Controls engineering Utilities Oil & Gas Pipelines Manufacturing Process controls Energy Other field-deployed PLC environments Important Candidate Requirement PLC programming and commissioning are the primary requirements.
